This month the focus is on lace and all the celebs are rocking this trend! Learn how to adapt this delicate fabric for the cooler months.

The dress - an elegant statement, the lace dress embodies femininity and paired with the right accessories can be taken from conservative glam to rebellious chic. In the colder months opt for some heavier bodied pieces with thicker panelling. High necks and long sleeves can also add an illusion of warmth. Australian label Lover are well known for their signature Lace dress and they're a favourite of mine - pair with a sleek pair of pumps for a decadent occasion or boots and a leather jacket for something a little more casual.

The top - Lace can either add a nice piece of detail to a top or become a feature of an outfit. I love a shirt with a lace feature and a pair of straight legged pants this season. You can take this outfit from boardroom to bar. Burberry have a great selection available. Asos have a great selection available.
The socks - A pair of trim ankle socks with some lace detail will inject a sense of playfulness to your outfit. Pair them with your favourite boots over some tights when it is especially cold or even with your favourite pair of brogues.
The underwear - From twin sets to a few pairs of panties lace underwear is an absolute must have for every woman.
