VOGUE FASHION FESTIVAL

The third Vogue Festival will take place on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 March 2014, this year in partnership with Harrods. The two-day extravaganza promises to be even bigger than its two predecessors, and will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the Southbank Centre.
"I'm delighted that Harrods is going to be our partner for the Vogue Festival 2014," said Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman. "We've already been discussing some great new ideas, and with their well-known commitment to fashion and style, I'm looking forward to a terrific relationship."
Last year's festival saw some of the world's biggest fashion talents come together for a weekend of interviews and discussions, including Victoria Beckham, Donatella Versace, Michael Kors, Paul Smith, Mario Testino, Vivienne Westwood, Alber Elbaz, Alexa Chung and Cara Delevingne. The line-up for the 2014 event is yet to be announced, but expect plenty of entertaining and inspiring star guests, as well as workshops, performances and makeovers. Tickets will go on sale in mid-February.
"We are delighted to be partnering with Vogue for the Vogue Festival 2014," said Chiara Varese, Harrods director of customer relationship management and personal shopping. "The fashion world is artistic, inspirational, innovative and sophisticated, but most of all it's exciting and fun. We look forward to adding to the unique customer experience for which this event has become well known and best loved. This natural partnership between our two brands will bring together in an innovative way the world's leading influencers, designers and fashion-savvy crowd, in luxury style."

CELEBRITY STYLE CRUSH

LATEST NEWS IN FASHION
Celebrity Style Crush- D'banj
We love D'banj (not because he has a fresh, well chiseled body, energy and did we mention that body already!)
We do because this entertainer is a man of great style ( we still don't get why he wears duo wristwatches). He is not afraid to make any trend his own.
It is no news that he loves luxury as well;  luxe fashion is D'banj's pastime, we love his daring approach to fashion and the fact that he owns his trends even when people don't agree with his style; he totally works for us (any thing on that body of his works for us!)
We love his style.

Presenter, model and fashionista Eku Edewor is the cover girl for the Blanck Digital  issue this January. She looks exquisite on the cover wearing chunky jewelry made with pearls, emeralds and blue sapphires and a brown blouse made of fur paired with a metallic gold skirt by Virgos Lounge.
Blanck Digital is a 76-page spread fashion and lifestyle publication  that features TV personality Eku Edewor on it's cover. During her interview with the fashion magazine she addresses issues such as racism as well as her personal and work lif

One of our best look from Wizkid. We love a sense style and when it comes to men; we want our men to look gooood! (sometimes they don't make any effort) It is so much better these days as guys go dapper it leaves our jaws on the floor!
We love Wizkid's sense of style, not sure we ever told you that. The young lad has a sense of style; he is too stylish to be ignored not even when he's has just a pair of shorts on! We admire his sense of style and love that he pushes boundaries and experiments with fashion.
He sure has won our hearts!

SECRET'S OF GETING A JOB BY YOUR LOOK

FASHION TIPS OF THE WEEK
Today we would be learning how to dress for that interview
So, you’ve  got a promising Job Interview coming up and you don’t have a clue what to wear?!
Here are the “Do’s and Don’ts” when going for a Job Interview
The guidelines:
1. Make sure your clothes are neatly ironed and pressed. Nothing gives away the lack of attention to detail more than wrinkled clothing.
2. Make sure your clothing fits properly. If your pants or sleeves are too long or something is too loose or too tight you’ll look and probably feel awkward.
3. Don’t wear flashy jewellery. You’ll want the interviewer to pay attention to you, not your bling.

4. Dress according to the season. Don’t wear a stuffy turtleneck sweater in the middle of the summer.
5. Don’t wear strong perfume or aftershave. You never know if your interviewer is allergic and this isn’t a good way to find out.
6. Make sure you have a nice, clean haircut.
7. For men, make sure you shave – keep facial hair to a minimum!
8. For women, don’t wear anything that is too revealing. It’s best to keep your body parts inside your clothing!

9. Avoid articles of clothing with loud, busy prints. Wear solid colors that flatter your skin tone.
10. For women, make sure you wear appropriate lingerie underneath your clothing. This will give you smooth lines and assure you don’t have visible lingerie on your backside.

11. For women, don’t overdo your make-up Wear natural colors and avoid heavy eye shadow, eyeliner and bright colored lipstick.
12. For pants outfits, make sure you wear a belt that matches the color of your shoes

Bottom line
Congratulations on getting the interview. Now you know exactly what to wear to help you get the job!
